The Adam and
Shalon Corner Last month, we were honored to film the return of Charlie Company to Sauk Centre. They had been serving in Iraq for almost 2 years, and all returned safely to their families that day. What a wonderful day! We would like to extend a big thank you again to all of Charlie Company, we’re so proud of you, thank you for the sacrifices you have made to serve our country! We also filmed one of our bigger events of the year, LIVE footage of the Sinclair Lewis Days Parade. We teamed up with CTV15 to air the parade as it was happening, as well as clips from throughout Sinclair Lewis Days. Our fantasy football show, Gridiron Circus has begun its second season, and is in full swing! Rick Skillings and Dirk Crider have already begun talking about all their pre-season picks. If you’re a football lover, don’t miss Gridiron Circus on SCTV19! Check our program schedule for listings. We’ve continued to film all the I-94 Races this season, getting great footage of all the excitement at the track. For a schedule of all the races and pictures from past events, you can visit them at http://www.i94raceway.com/i94raceway/ On Around the Corner, Logan Friess interviewed some very interesting people from the Broken Wing Society. The Broken Wing Society is a charitable organization that takes the physically challenged out bird hunting. On Journeys with Jenny, Jenny visited a photography studio to learn tips on how to take great digital pictures. Not only did we film the Miss Sauk Centre and Miss Melrose Pageants, but this past month we also ventured out to feature the Little-Miss pageants including Little Miss Watkins and Little Miss Kimball pageants. In Melrose, we’ve been filming many editions of Music On the River. Music on the River features new musicians every week at the Sauk River Park. At the Stearns County Fair, we filmed the Crazy Dog One-Man-Band Show, the Rodeo, and also the Draft Horse Show.
