The Adam and
Shalon Corner
Special news for you, written by your favorite SCTV
guys
This past month, the SCTV crew was busy filming and editing
school year-end events in our various communities. We filmed and edited
graduation ceremonies from Sauk Centre, Melrose, Eden Valley Watkins and
Kimball as well as proms from Sauk Centre, Melrose, and Eden Valley Watkins.
Jenny Deters from Journeys With Jenny has recently gone
to Tree Top Nursery and also interviewed Tony
Gert. Tony is a retired farmer who lives south of Sauk Centre.
Jenny interviewed Tony about his love for geology and his hobby of cutting
and polishing gemstones.
Jenny also had the opportunity to interview Father Vince Lieser
from St. Mary's of Melrose about celebrating his 40 years in the
priesthood. Topics included changes in the Catholic Church, priests
and marriage, and his love of golf.
Logan Friess from Around the Corner interviewed
John Wilber about song writing and athletes from the
Special Olympics filmed recently in Albany, MN.
The thunder of the engines from I-94 Races is back on
SCTV! The opening race was on May 16, and we will continue to film the
races throughout the season. We’re also happy to
welcome I-94 Races as a Star Supporter of SCTV19.
Also added last month to our Star Supporter team were
Fitness Guru and Creative Curbing. Thank
you to all our Star Supporters. It is because of your support that we
are able to continue to connect the surrounding communities with School
and Community Television.
SCTV Tip of the Month:
For better pans and tilts, get a tripod with a fluid head. This will make
your movements smoother and much more professional in the finished product. |

a genius is often merely a talented person who has done all of his or
