We were honored to film the diversiCOM Teacher of the Year 2008 this past month. Ellen Thomas, an Agriculture teacher at Sauk Centre High School was awarded the title, and SCTV was there to film the Ellen's surprise and the cheers from the crowd. SCTV filmed the comedic performance of Roger Radley, a travelling comedian from Wisconsin. Roger has been in the business for over 20 years, and has lots of humorous things to say about fishing, hunting, and trips up north. If you're a lover of the outdoors, you won't want to miss this! DVDs are now available.
Frederic Schulte from the Elder Network came to the studio this past month to tell our viewers more about his organization. The Elder Network is a group of trained volunteers that give help to elderly people in need of moral support while facing a variety of life issues.
