We filmed three brand new Journeys with Jenny over the past month. All came just in time for Veteran's Day, where Jenny interviewed in separate shows, WWII Vets, Korea Vets, and Vietnam Vets.
On Around the Corner, Logan Friess got a lesson in making Kettle Corn from Dan Bastian, owner of Angie's Kettle Corn. The SCTV crew acted as anxious taste testers and concluded that Logan isn't so bad at cooking after all. It was the perfect sweet and salty snack for that cold November day. In another Around the Corner, Logan Friess visited with Don Driver about the Kimball Disaster Drill, specifically about the train derailment exercise.
The I-94 Racing Season has come to an end. SCTV filmed every race and is also compiling a highlight video. The 18 DVD set is on sale for just $99! You can order your set right from the SCTV website.
Our fantasy football show, Gridiron Circus has begun its second season, and is in full swing! Rick Skillings and Dirk Crider have already begun talking about all their pre-season picks. School sports are in full swing, and SCTV has been out taping many of the key events. DVD sales of these events have really been good as our community awareness about SCTV continues to grow. Parents and students continue to comment on the convenience, reasonable price, and quality of our sports videos.

When creating motion with your camera, remember these following tips:
DON'T walk with the camcorder without a steady stick.
DON'T pan too much or too fast.
DON'T over use the zoom button
DO use a tripod when shooting, whenever practical.
DO shoot from different angles.
DO include lots of wide angle shots.
