PINEAPPLE BARS

Directions:
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
Mix this together and pat into a 9 X 13 pan
Bake for 10 minutes at 350°
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. Flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
Mix together, pour over first layer
Bake 20 minutes at 350°
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 – 3 egg yolks (2 large or 3 small)
2 Tbsp. butter
1 8oz. can crushed pineapple drained
Cook this together until thick
Pour over baked bars
Cool and let set up
Cut into bars
